Corrections

If a case file gets something wrong, the record should be corrected visibly.

What we’ll correct

We correct factual errors, misattributed causes, broken or superseded sources, and outcomes mischaracterised by a case file.

How to report one

Identify the case by its AFL- id or URL, explain what is wrong, and link a source where possible. Email the details to [email protected].

How corrections are recorded

Corrections are recorded visibly on the case file rather than made silently. A case’s id and URL never change, so the corrected record remains findable at the same address. Published cases and solutions may be withdrawn, but they are not deleted.
